Cable Internet

Service uses coaxial cable technology to provide cost effective, high bandwidth internet access service with nationwide availability. IOC (internet over cable) service incorporates high quality cable network technology model for managing multiple cable providers with a single invoice and single contact for best in class customer care. Cable internet uses the cable industry standard DOCSIS 1.0 over cable infrastructure, which includes fiber from the head end to the hub and coax from the hub to the customer premises, with download speeds up to 101 MB/s in select markets. Cable Internet connection is a form of broadband access. Through use of a cable modem, users can access the Internet over cable TV lines. Cable modems can provide extremely fast access to the Internet.
